The 2010 Hampton International childrens festival was a success for the Icelandic booth. Thousand of visitors came through to check out the vikings and talk about the news in Iceland. Thank you Hilmar, Oli, ,Inga, John, Ella, Harry and Sella for setting it up and the great picture taking opportunity's with the vikings. Our next event is the NATO festival, formally known as the Azalea festival kicks off at 10:00a, May 1st with the parade. Following the parade will be the festival at town point park. There we will show off the float and the "mermaids", you don't want to miss it. As always any volunteers are more than welcomed.

Here you will find the latest happenings with the association's on going activities. We are located in Hampton Roads, Virginia, which consist of the cities of Viginia beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Portsomouth. Most individuals will associate this area with the populous of the military that is here, one of the largest Naval bases is right here in Norfolk. We also boast a beautiful beach and have a long history here in the area.
