Thank you to all for coming to the June 17th annual picnic (Icelandic Independence day). The weather was terrible every other city in Hampton Roads, except in Ocean View, where we had plenty of sunshine. Hope you all enjoyed the Pylsur, see you there next year.

 Welcome to the Icelandic/American association of Hampton Roads, Virginia. We hope you find our website of interest. Here you will find the latest happenings with the association's on going activities. We are located in Hampton Roads, Virginia, which consist of the cities of Viginia beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Portsomouth. Most individuals will associate this area with the populous of the military that is here, one of the largest Naval bases is right here in Norfolk. We also boast a beautiful beach and have a long history here in the area.
